COLLECTIVE EXHIBITION OF DESIGN & ART

After the Parisian success of Zip Zone Paris Fashion Tradeshows, Alessandra Stretti launches in 2016 the new event format Zip Zone Events in Milan.
Zip Zone Events MDW is a collective exhibition of Design and Art that finds its maximum expression during the Milan Design Week, for years the nerve center of art and design in all their forms. Over the years, artists and designers of all sizes have chosen to exhibit with us at the Fuorisalone, allowing us to build unforgettable moments for buyers, visitors and exhibitors. Our events represent an innovative blend of deign and art, based on the ability to immerse the public within a professional and artistic world.
For our event we chose the Tortona Design District which is the most visited district during the Fuorisalone and which hosts the most important installations and design exhibitions.

Dopo il successo parigino di Zip Zone Paris Fashion Tradeshows, Alessandra Stretti lancia nel 2016 il nuovo format di eventi Zip Zone Events a Milano.
Zip Zone Events MDW è un’esposizione collettiva di Design e Arte che trova la sua massima espressione durante la Milan Design Week, da anni centro nevralgico del design e dell’arte in tutte le loro forme. Negli anni, artisti e designer di ogni calibro hanno scelto di esporre con noi in occasione del Fuorisalone, permettendoci di costruire momenti indimenticabili per i buyers, i visitatori e gli espositori. I nostri eventi rappresentano un innovativo connubio di arte e design, fondato sulla capacità di immergere il pubblico all’interno di un mondo al contempo professionale ed artistico.
Per il nostro evento abbiamo scelto il Tortona Design District che è il distretto più visitato durante il Fuorisalone e che accoglie installazioni ed esposizioni di design più affermate.

Who

Zip Zone was founded more than 20 years ago in Paris as a multi-brand showroom by Alessandra Stretti, a renowned entrepreneur passionate about fashion and design, as well as an event organizer.
The name "Zip Zone" stands for "energy zone" and emerged spontaneously from the vibrant effect generated by encounters with new creative ideas and the discovery of emerging talents.
Visionary and willing to take risks, Alessandra believes that building trusting relationships with designers leads to fruitful collaborations, especially when their work gains international recognition. Throughout her career, she has discovered and promoted several talents, such as Preen by Thornton Bregazzi in the fashion world, to name just one.
Over the last 20 years, in Paris, Zip Zone has evolved from a multi-brand showroom into an international trade show: Zip Zone Paris Fashion Trade Show, a high-end event dedicated to luxury and emerging fashion brands, held for more than 10 years at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, part of the Louvre Museum.
In the past seven years, Alessandra launched Zip Zone Events, a new original and innovative event format, alongside the organization of pop-up stores in strategic periods. Developed in Milan, the format has achieved great success. In addition to organizing its own events, Zip Zone Events creates tailor-made events for brands during strategic periods in both Milan and Paris, offering a comprehensive service that ranges from selecting the location to managing the event in its entirety. Thanks to 25 years of experience and expertise, Zip Zone Events provides customized solutions to best showcase each brand.

Zip Zone è stata fondata più di 20 anni fa a Parigi come showroom multi-brand da Alessandra Stretti, un’imprenditrice affermata, appassionata di moda e design, nonché organizzatrice di eventi.
Il nome "Zip Zone" significa "zona di energia" ed è nato spontaneamente dall’effetto vibrante che scaturisce dall’incontro con nuove idee creative e dal processo di scoperta di nuovi talenti.
Visionaria e disposta a rischiare, Alessandra crede che costruire rapporti di fiducia con i designer porti a collaborazioni fruttuose, specialmente quando il loro lavoro ottiene riconoscimento internazionale. Nel corso della sua carriera, ha scoperto e promosso diversi talenti, come nel mondo della moda Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, solo per citarne alcuni.
Negli ultimi 20 anni, a Parigi, Zip Zone si è trasformata da showroom multi-brand a fiera internazionale: Zip Zone Paris Fashion Trade Show, un evento di alto livello dedicato a brand di lusso ed emergenti della moda, che si è tenuto per più di 10 anni nel Museo delle Arti Decorative, parte del Louvre.
Negli ultimi 7 anni, Alessandra ha lanciato Zip Zone Events, un nuovo format di eventi originale e innovativo, affiancato dall’organizzazione di pop-up stores in periodi strategici. Sviluppato a Milano, il format ha ottenuto un grande successo. Oltre a organizzare i propri eventi, Zip Zone Events realizza eventi ad hoc per i brand in periodi strategici, sia a Milano che a Parigi, offrendo un servizio completo che va dalla selezione della location all'organizzazione a 360 gradi dell’evento. Grazie al know-how acquisito in 25 anni di esperienza, Zip Zone Events garantisce soluzioni su misura per valorizzare al meglio ogni brand.
